For over 18 years Lukas dedicated his time to Latin dance styles. Beginning with Latin dances like Cuban Salsa and Bachata before moving most of his attention to Kizomba, Candombe & Afrobeats. Lukas runs various events & workshops with SenZuaL being the longest running Kizomba focused event in Melbourne.
Leonardo started his own bachata school, Bachata Inc, and Australia’s first bachata social in 2010. He has focused on spreading the love of bachata, while also learning many other styles, like kizomba. He started teaching kizomba regularly in 2021 and it has quickly become his favorite style. He had a dream to create a festival for Melbourne that United the styles, and the people of Melbourne, so together with Lukas worked on creating this festival.
