Lam is Congolese born, Congo-Mozambique raised, and has been dancing since he could walk. He has devoted much of his time and energy since then in sharing his love for rhythm, music and movement with others.
Lam has extensive dance experience between various styles across Africa, Cuba and the Dominican. His first passion and primary teaching focus is in the related styles of Kizomba, Semba, Zouk, Ndombolo, and Traditional African Dance.
Lam has taught and performed nationally and
internationally as a dancer and choreographer for many years. Lam and Kylie founded Afrikan Soul together in Melbourne in 2016. Lam teaches to provide a platform for people to connect to culture, community, and each other.
